Kirk Kay began serving as Lead Pastor at Immanuel Baptist Church in August 2022. Prior to coming to Immanuel, he served in various ministry roles at churches in Texas, Mississippi, and Kentucky. He also served as a Chaplain in the United States Army for more than 7 years, deploying to both Iraq and Afghanistan. After 25 years in ministry, Pastor Kirk and his wife, Brandi, remain passionate about and committed to seeing lost people saved, hurt people healed, and God’s people grow in their relationship with Him.
Pastor Kirk holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, a Master of Divinity from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from Talbot School of Theology at Biola University.
Kirk and Brandi have three children: Jeremiah, Kirklyn, and Kristen.
